Ms Laurence Paul has set up her gallery in London in 1998. She has been raised in a family of “Antiquaires” in France but her heart quickly drifted towards China. Her major focus are Chinese antique woodstands which for centuries have been imperative to the display of Chinese Works of Art. Her collection is now internationally acclaimed, not only with collectors of Chinese porcelain, but also with clients who have an interest in the rare and exotic species of woods used in their manufacture. She travels constantly between Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong and mainland China looking for the next treasure and making sure her collections always present the best in Art and Craftsmanship.
